Do I seek out someone on my insurance panel? Closest to my house? How do I know if they actually know what they are doing? These are all good questions and will lead you down a reasonable decision making path. Even more than convenience and affordability, I recommend that you seek a "goodness of fit". Ashley is a student at The University of the Cumberlands. She has special interest and experience in working with the LGBTQ community, and she is open to working with clients of all ages (6+) and with multiple different problem areas. She works under the supervision of Jessica Northrop, LCSW.

School-Based Therapy
The Northrop Connection has partnered with Paulding County Schools to offer school-based therapy to the students of Nebo Elementary School, Abney Elementary School, Burnt Hickory Elementary School, and McClure Middle School. We have two therapists who provide services in these schools: Jenna Lopatka, LCSW and Patricia Aguilar, MFT. If you have a student at one of these schools and wish your child to receive their therapy during their school day, please complete this referral form.

The Northrop Connection provides specialized care for veterans with therapy, medication management, and evaluation services for nexus letters.
