School-Based Therapy
The Northrop Connection is proud to offer therapy for students at select Paulding County Schools (Nebo Elementary School, Abney Elementary School, Burnt Hickory Elementary School, and McClure Middle School.
This service allows families who wish for their child to receive counseling services to do so during the school day while the child is still in the school building. Â
What services are provided?
Your child will have a dedicated school-based therapist who can provide play therapy, coping skills development, and talk therapy to help enhance your child's mental health and wellness.
We can address the following mental health concerns:
- Anger and Disruptive Behavior
- Coping with a Divorce, Family Change, and Grief
- Problems with Study Skills
- Depression (including self-harm)
- Anxiety
- Relationship Problems
- Poor self-esteem
- Communication difficulties
