Meet Deanna

Have you been dealing with a difficult season in your life? Let’s face it; life can be challenging at times. Pretending that everything is okay when deep down you know that you are hurting or struggling hasn’t been working, but it can be so hard to open up.  When life throws unexpected twists and turns, it can be helpful, and even liberating, to have a someone to offer guidance and a listening ear. I specialize in helping people who are dealing with grief, stress, anxiety, depression, and those curve balls that life will sometimes throw.

If you have experienced a loss, the grief process can be incredibly intense, sad, and even frightening. We can go through the grief process as a result of the death of a person close to us, the loss of a relationship, the loss of a job, the loss of pregnancy, and much more. Many of us have experienced some degree of grief throughout this pandemic because we lost so much of our routine and activities we enjoyed. Grief is a normal reaction to a loss. It is “normal” to feel pain after a physical injury. In both instances, the pain can be quite debilitating, and the healing process can be enhanced with professional care.

Transitions can also create tension and stress, even if the transition is "good", such as graduating high school, starting college, getting your first "real" job, becoming a parent, or getting married. I'm here to help reduce stress and strain around these transitions and to help you enjoy all that these transitions can bring.

I am here to offer you that care. I’m here to listen to you, help organize those thoughts racing through your head, and to teach you skills that are effective in managing all manner of stress and change. If are willing and ready to grow into a place of recovery and confidence, please call to schedule your free consultation.

Your pain is real, and I’m here to help you.
